New Salthouse soon to Debut

Salthouse Corsair Euro 49 “Black Pearl”  will be launched on the 18th April.  After much time, consultation and hard work from the dedicated team at Dean Salthouse Next Generation Boats.  This will be the first  to be launched of the three Salthouse Euro 49’s  currently under construction.

The Salthouse Euro 49’ allows much more space for some sought after features! Such as the cockpit toilet and shower which are often on people’s wish lists. The addition of a full size household washer dryer under the large cockpit servery unit between the galley and the cockpit gives bench space galore!  The increased cockpit floor space has been put to good use with a built in BBQ unit in the port quarter and the alfresco dining area has been retained from the 44’ by repositioning it further aft.
Under the floor sees a 9.5 KVA Onan Genset to power the water maker, dive compressor, shore power refrigeration unit and air conditioning, so you can stay put as long as you like. This and the addition of 300 liters of extra fuel more than make up for the extra displacement and increases the cruising range/speed when exploring the South Islands play grounds. “Black Pearl” will join the growing fleet of Salthouse Corsairs based in Havelock, however she will spend time in Wellington also.

Dean says it is pleasing to be so busy in these times and we put it down to our special features that no other vessels have and our personal service with every boat we build; happy owners become great friends.
Currently we have interest in three larger vessels for existing owners.
The second Euro 49 “Midnight Oil” is due for launch in July and will be on display at the Auckland International Boat Show in September 2011. She will be available for viewing and sea trialing from July.
